Amvets Post 16

The Amvets meet the third Monday of each month in the Amvets building. Anyone who has served the Armed Forces from Dec. 7, 1941 to present is eligible to join. This is primarily a social organization. Annual events include state golf and bowling tournaments. The Amvets carry the responsibility of displaying the flag along Main Street for national holidays.
