Legion - Fourth Tuesday of the month at Legion Hall
Legion Auxiliary - First Tuesday of the month at Legion Hall
Legion Post was founded by World War I veterans on Jan. 10, 1920.
The group was originally named Yankee Run Post; eventually,
the name was changed to Lillis-Deerberg Post, as it is known today.
Post has sponsored an annual beef supper since 1993. The post played
an integral role in the organization of the Avenue
of Flags, which began in 2003. In 2004, a mural was painted on the
side of the Legion hall. This beautiful mural features military service
emblems and insignias, flags, and the words to The Pledge of Allegiance.
