SERVICES
Drs.
Hassebrock and Palmer do complete eye exams, including testing for
glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, etc. They provide pre- and post-
operative care for cataract and laser vision correction surgeries. Dr.
Hassebrock initiated the performance of cataract surgeries at DeWitt
Community Hospital by Dr. Lee Birchansky of Fox Eye, Cedar Rapids, to
provide an access to these procedures without traveling to the big cities.
Lowden Eyecare
offers customer service and products for all budgets and visual needs.
Lowden Eyecare has many frames to choose from, which have a one-year warranty. Polycarbonate and plastic lenses with scratch coat are also
covered with a one-year warranty. Safety and budget eyewear as well as
prescription and non-prescription sunglasses are also available.
They also fit and dispense both soft and gas permeable contact lenses.
Lenses are available from daily wear to 30-day wear.
Stop by Lowden
Eyecare Mondays between 9 a.m. to noon or Thursdays between 1 to 4 p.m.

SPECIAL
PROGRAMS/INSURANCE
FAMILY DISCOUNTS: Lowden Eyecare offers a family discount of 20-percent to
any family member who purchases complete frame and lenses within 60 days
after the first family member. They also offer a multiple pair discount of
20-percent on a second pair of frames and lenses.
KID'S EYEWEAR: Kids can be hard on glasses. By using polycarbonate lenses,
the strongest and safest lens material, and frames with spring hinges, the
life of a pair of glasses can be extended. Warranted kid-tough frame and
lens packages are available starting at $99.95.
INSURANCE: Lowden Eyecare is a participating provider with several vision
insurance plans, including Vision Service Plan (VSP), Eye Associates
Network (EAN) and John Deere Davis. Even though you may not have vision
insurance, if you do have a "medical" eye problem (injuries,
foreign bodies, red eyes, allergies, infections, inflammations or
glaucoma) your medical insurance may pay toward "medical"
visits. We will gladly file all claims for you.
