OF LOWDEN CITY COUNCIL, REGULAR MEETING, MONDAY, DECEMBER 1,
2008, 6:00 PM, CITY HALL
The
regular meeting of the Lowden City Council was called to order by
Mayor Dan Hamdorf. Council members present on roll
call: Olsen, Tucker, Decker. Absent: Ryan. (Conrad seated at 6:08 PM.)
Visitors: Pat Kroemer, Gene Hamdorf, Tim Crabb.
M/S Tucker, Olsen to approve the minutes of the 11/3/08 meeting. Ayes:
Tucker,
Olsen, Decker.
M/S Decker, Olsen to seat Conrad at 6:08 PM. Ayes: Tucker, Olsen, Decker.
M/S Olsen, Tucker to approve payment of the bills as presented. Ayes: Olsen,
Decker, Tucker, Conrad.
M/S Olsen, Decker to open the Public Hearing on the status of funds for the 2007
Housing Rehabilitation Grant. Ayes: Decker, Tucker, Olsen, Conrad.
Tim Crabb, ECIA, gave a report to the council on the progress of the housing
rehabilitation project in Lowden. He said three of six projects are complete
and all projects should be completed by March 2009.
M/S Olsen, Decker to close the Public Hearing on the status of funds for the
2007
Housing Rehabilitation Grant. Ayes: Decker, Tucker, Olsen, Conrad.
M/S Conrad, Tucker to authorize clerk to pay end of calendar year bills. Ayes:
Conrad, Olsen, Tucker, Decker.
M/S Tucker, Olsen to approve the monthly financial report. Ayes: Conrad, Olsen,
Tucker, Decker.
Mayor Hamdorf reported he had spoken to Kent Stout about the Little Home Day
Care's loan payments to the City for the USDA loan. They are several months behind
in the payments and they hope a fundraiser next spring will help them with their
financial situation.
M/S Tucker, Conrad to adjourn at 6:35 PM. Ayes: Conrad, Decker, Tucker, Olsen.
