Motioned by Olsen to have the 1st reading of Ordinance #765, tree ordinance.
Motion was withdrawn. Council discussed the types of trees that can be planted in the City right-of-way and how close to a street corner they should be planted. Lisa Decker will talk to the Lowden Tree Committee to clarify some language in the ordinance and the ordinance will be placed on the January meeting agenda.
Dan Hamdorf said he would take care of having someone do the sidewalk snow removal at City Hall, Library, and Little Home Day Care Center.
M/S Olsen, Ryan to approve payment of calendar year end bills. Ayes: All.

Maintenance men will order a pair of curb feelers for the snow plow, $115, from

Maintenance men said several homes and businesses in Lowden have lead service lines and need to be replaced. Council asked them to check if it is mandatory to replace the lead lines.
