Water/Sanitation/Garbage

A municipal water system is operated by the city, along with the sewage treatment plant. Water meters are read quarterly. The city also coordinates trash and recycling pick up. Garbage is picked up curbside every Wednesday. Recyclable collection is curbside every other Tuesday. New residents must obtain a blue recycle container from the city clerk's office. Total fees due include water, sewer and garbage charges. New residents must pay a $100 customer deposit, which is refunded after two years.
