Water/Sanitation/Garbage
A municipal water system is operated by the city, along with the sewage treatment plant. Water meters are read bi-monthly. The city also coordinates trash and recycling pick up. Garbage is picked up curbside every Wednesday. Recyclable collection is curbside every other Tuesday. New residents must obtain a blue recycle container from the city clerk's office. Total fees due include water, sewer and garbage charges. New residents must pay a $100 customer deposit, which is refunded after two years.
